setting the date..

So, I'm crazy when it comes to numbers.  My favorite number is 5, so while setting a date, it was just about crucial that we have some multiple of 5 in our date.  Yes, I know this is crazy. :)  Wyatt and I had our hearts set on the season of Fall, preferably September or October.  My top choices were Sept 10th and Oct 15th of next year.  October is a bit of a busy month for the Cromer family.  There are several birthdays and Morgan is traveling for work.  She's traveling for work in September too, but it was looking like she could make the 10th work.  Curtis' pre-season snowboarding also starts around the 10th, but he said he could make it work.  On Dec 1st (Wyatt's 29th birthday) we finally got together and set the date for Saturday, September 10, 2011.  Yay!  10 is a multiple of 5 AND our date is 9 10 11 so therefore extra cool.  So, now onto guest list and save the date cards!  Hmm...I'd better get to those Christmas cards first!!

it's cold here.

I just got home from work and am sitting in front of our little space heater.  It's a peculiar little devil.  Who wouldn't turn it up to HIGH and leave it there all night when the whole room is freezing?  We actually have to leave it on MEDIUM and crack a window for us to be able to breath during the night and wake up the next morning not completely congested.  When Wyatt isn't here, I completely forget to shut all the windows before I go to work and I feel like I'm walking into an ice box when I get back.  This time he's in Chicago.  Last week it was Argentina.  For being newly engaged, it sure seems like we spend a lot of time apart.  I can't sleep.  I'm staying up all night and then sleeping once I'm tired enough to pass out.  It really is rather sickening.  I was up until 5am this morning getting lost on the internet.  I kept getting reeled in to wedding website and decorating sites.  I bought a domain name for our wedding and started setting it up.  lol  We haven't even set a date yet!  Like I said - lonely!  At least I have Stella to keep me company (dog sitting).  Except, she's asleep.  She'll wake me up early to let her out and feed her too.  Ugh, maybe I should actually try to sleep tonight.  I'm thinking of taking her to Pismo to run around the beach tomorrow.  It will be overcast, but shouldn't be raining yet.
